Q. Can you tell me about (ISC)² Security Congress? What is it?
A: (ISC)² Security Congress brings together industry colleagues, offers educational and thought- leadership sessions, and fosters collaboration with other forward-thinking companies. The goal of our annual global cybersecurity conference is to advance security leaders by arming them with the knowledge, tools and expertise to protect their organizations.
Q: When and where is 2020 (ISC)² Security Congress?
A: (ISC)² announced that its 10th annual (ISC)² Security Congress will take place as a virtual conference in recognition of the health concerns and many corporate travel restrictions this year associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. The renowned three-day conference, focused on industry discussion and continuing education for security professionals of all levels, will be held online from November 16-18.
While last year’s event in Orlando drew more than 2,500 attendees, the flexibility of a virtual conference will enable more cybersecurity professionals than ever before to access world-class expertise shared through upwards of 40 sessions by presenters from around the globe. Professional development sessions will provide actionable insights into a wide array of both technical and soft skills topics including Cloud Security, DevSecOps, Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), Career Development, Privacy, workforce challenges and more. (ISC)² members are eligible for special discounted pricing and will have opportunities to participate in various online lounges and events. They will also have the opportunity to earn as many as 45 continuing professional education (CPE) credits – more than any other previous Security Congress – by attending live and on-demand sessions. Q: How much is it to register?
A: Recognizing that many training budgets have been reallocated due to the economic impact of COVID-19, (ISC)² Security Congress 2020 is offering a heavily discounted Early Bird pricing to (ISC)2 members and associates of just $295 for an All Access Pass. Non-members will also benefit with Early Bird pricing of $395. Registration details will be announced when open. The Early Bird window will close on September 30.

Q: I am a student, what is the student pricing?
A: In recognition of the continued health concerns, travel restrictions and minimized training budgets, we are offering this year’s Security Congress at a heavily discounted price to Members and Non-Members alike, while still providing the same high-quality, educational experience utilizing the flexibility of a virtual environment. With that being said, due to the immense value Security Congress delivers to attendees, we’re not able to further discount or waive registration fees for any pass type.
The challenges brought about by COVID-19 were foremost in our minds when we deeply discounted all pricing for this year’s Security Congress. While a Non-Member All Access Pass is $395.00 if purchased prior to September 30, 2020, it still represents an investment where registered attendees will gain significant industry knowledge and insight.
Q: How do I pay for Security Congress?

Q: What is included with an All Access pass?
A: The three-day package (Monday, November 16 – Wednesday, November 18) is your best value and includes:

Q: When will presentations be on-demand and for how long?
A: Presentations will be readily available for access on-demand. They will then be available for consumption 365 days post-event for paid attendees.
Q: How do I submit for CPEs? How long will I have to wait for my CPEs?
A: To assure that CPE credits will automatically post to (ISC)² members’ accounts, they must provide their (ISC)² ID number during initial registration. Registrants must submit CPEs manually if they did not include their Member ID number. CPEs will automatically be credited to Member accounts within 30 days post-conference. In the event that duplicate entries are made, it is the member’s responsibility to remove the duplicate entries.
Q: When will the program schedule be available?
A: The final program schedule will be announced in August and posted here. We will deliver a rich experience of great content across a wide range of topic areas. The following key elements of the event will be present:

Q: Can I register for sessions in advance?
A: There is an option to pre-register for specific sessions, however virtual sessions are not restricted in attendance. With a paid registration status, attendees are able to participate in any session with or without pre-registration. Only pre-conference trainings will require pre- registration.
Q: I’m not located in the USA. Will the schedule include content delivered in other time zones?
A: We have been diligently working to develop a schedule which meets our members and non-members availability. As we are based on the east coast of the United States, most events will be taking place in EST and recorded. However, we are exploring all options to accommodate global time zones.
Q: Will there be a Security Congress mobile app this year?
A: Yes, Security Congress will feature a mobile app this year. More information and details will follow.
