(ISC)² Security Congress Compass
Even if you’re a (ISC)² Security Congress veteran, with the conference being virtual for the first time this year, there’s a few things you’ll need to know to guide you through your Security Congress journey. Consider this your Security Congress Compass to help you navigate the event and get the absolute most out of your experience November 16-18, and for months to come!
Get Your Pass
First, you’ll need to register to create an account over at securitycongress.brighttalk.live/register Please also make sure you have read, understand and will adhere to our Code of Conduct. We want this to be an enjoyable experience for all! Once you’ve created – and verified – your account, you can purchase your pass for the conference. We have member, non-member and government/military/retired pricing available. You can also choose to register for the whole conference with an All Access Pass – your best value for price and CPEs – or a single day pass.
Registering for Sessions

Save Your Spots
We’re thrilled to bring exciting and engaging experts to you with three keynote speakers: Bruce Schneier, Graham Cluley and Juliette Kayyem. Be sure you click “Save My Spot” on all three keynote sessions to add them to your BrightTALK agenda.
If you miss a keynote session, those will be available on-demand for 60 days following the event.
You can also add any of the breakout sessions from the full Security Congress agenda to your calendar by clicking “attend” to register for each session using your personal BrightTALK user account credentials (or create a new account). Do NOT use your Security Congress login credentials for attending sessions. Keep in mind that while you cannot attend two sessions simultaneously, you’ll be able to access all breakout sessions on-demand for a full year after the conference has ended.
You’ll be able to meet with top security vendors in our virtual Expo Hall. Vendors will be presenting information about their products and services, and also available for video chat with attendees. A separate registration is needed to access the virtual Expo Hall, but that same registration is valid for the Security Congress Mobile App.
Daily networking and engagement activities will be available throughout Security Congress as a way for virtual attendees to engage, experience and earn credit hours while you learn. Be sure to check out the presentation sessions happening in the Networking Lounges. Just because we’re not in the same room doesn’t mean you can’t meet fellow practitioners! With activities like a virtual escape room, Panoply, plus additional activities hosted by the Center for Cyber Safety and Education, you’ll have many opportunities to connect with fellow attendees.

Get Your CPEs
You’ll be able to earn as many as 45 CPEs with an All Access Pass to Security Congress. Each hour-long session is worth one CPE credit. You must view at least 45 minutes of each session in order for the session to count toward your educational activity. Credits for the Security Congress sessions will begin being applied to your account as early as November 30. Since you can’t watch all of the sessions during the 3-day event, you’ll be able to view as many as you want on-demand following the conference. Those CPEs will be applied to your account roughly every 30 days beginning January 4, 2021. Breakout sessions will be accessible to registered attendees for a year.
